So I tried explaining this whole blog thing to my friends. Some get it
and some just don't. So I am composing my list of why I am blogging. Or
why someone should blog.

My own special forum to vent.

Somewhere to share my love for stuff and people.

For my fans.

A place to practise my writing.

Somewhere
to post all those little ideas I have that normally get forgotten or
lost or scribbled on some anonymous paper... and then lost.

Of course somewhere to post pics of my portfolio.

To keep in touch with my friends. But that matches point #3 doesn't it?

My big online scrapbook/journal/photo album/space.

My piece of the internet world!

I think I'm starting to repeat myself...

It is between classes and we were talking about where to go out tonight.

I don't know.

Manhattan and I just don't know. You kinda get sick of the whole thing sometimes. Plus, I'm kinda poor.

Sometimes,
I wonder how many of the people who live here are real New Yorkers. I
mean seems most of NY is people from everywhere but.

Being grumpy.
Ignore me.
Ugh.

Today between classes I saw an ad for an Andy Warhol
show. The work that they'll be displaying is SUMMER SHADOWS I-V, the
complete 1979 diamond dust edition. It's only open until the end of
July. After that it's by appointment only. I'll have to talk to Stacey
and see if she'd be into going, She's a big art fan and it is Andy Warhol! Oh and it's at the Woodward Gallery.

Ok, so you know I'm really into history, particularly Napoleon, so here's your Napoleon fact for the day:

There
always seemed to be a big deal about how tall Napoleon actually was.
For the most part I think many people would agree that he was short.
Well, before they performed the autopsy on him, they measured him. He
was 1.686 metres tall.

I spoke to Greg and asked him what that
works out to. Apparently 1 metre is something like a couple of feet. If
that is true then my Napoleon was indeed a short man! But his character
no doubt makes up for it!
